Natural HR celebrates a duo of achievements: receiving a place on the shortlist in the HR Excellence Awards, plus a Women In Tech Awards win.
It’s been a whirlwind couple of weeks as we celebrate a duo of achievements for the team at Natural HR: a place on the shortlist in the HR Excellence Awards, plus an awards win at the Midlands Women in Tech Awards.
Showcasing our work alongside the National Motorcycle Museum, we were thrilled to be deemed a contender in the best HR technology strategy category at HR Magazine’s annual HR Excellence Awards.
Testament to our team’s efforts and commitment to going over and above, the shortlisting highlights the key role Natural has played in overhauling the hospitality company’s approach to HR processes and compliance. With the system now embedded and being embraced by colleagues throughout the business, it is hoped that the functionality will help to bolster staff retention — in an industry notoriously burdened by recruitment difficulties.
Meanwhile, in a room bursting with the region’s brightest female tech talent, our COO and co-founder Sarah Dowzell was delighted to be announced as winner of the tech professional (non-coding) category.
Paying homage to her position as a leader in a traditionally male-dominated industry, Sarah is keen to become a role model for women and girls climbing the ranks in the tech sector — presenting a realistic view of what it takes to be a female entrepreneur.
Commenting on the win, Sarah shared: “It was already such an honour to have made the shortlist, but to win the category was incredible. It was a lovely evening surrounded by the team and sharing our success story together.
“Being among so many inspirational women, each showing that tech can be both a fulfilling and rewarding career choice, is testament to the wealth of opportunity that exists for females in the sector.”
